We are return visitors to the Amunuca Island Resort and I can honestly say we have never been disappointed with this resort. Our Ocean View room was clean, comfortable and pretty close to everything. It is a big resort, but the grounds are beautiful and there’s lots to do and see. This is first and foremost a great family resort.

We arrived in Fiji on the 26th of April 2008 with our two children aged 9 and 7. When we arrived at Amunuca Island Resort we were given welcome drinks while we checked in to our ocean view room. Our room was beautiful and had lovely views of the beach and gardens. Its so nice place to stay.

The Amunuca Island Resort is just fabulous. It’s main asset are the staff. From the gardener to the General Manager everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. There is no way you could leave here unhappy – they just wouldn’t let you! Our two children (3 and 1) loved everyone and everything about this place and didn’t want to leave.

This was our third trip to the Amunuca Island Resort (first time with kids), to say that we love it is an understatement. Our last trip there was 5 years ago and to have the staff remember us was just amazing. Our kids do not take to new people very well but the staff at the Amunuca Island Resort had them won over in and they had the fabulous time in the resort.

  11. Andrew says:

From the moment we arrived we were relaxed…the detail they go to to make u feel that way…at check in they grab the kids so they could play whilst we tended to the check-in process. We are very apprehensive of this trip due to our daughters dairy allergy and the fact we could not prepare her meals. Overall its a Awesome Family Holiday.

We read these reviews for months and finally decided 6 days in our lives was worth the adventure. Everything went perfectly from arrival to departure. I’m not sure what “Fiji time” means because we were never kept waiting. Tish, the manageress, and her staff were all friendly, professional and fun people.

The island is so amazingly beautiful it inspired me to propose to my partner. the pool is fantastic looking out at the pacific. The rooms look and feel amazing, the maids make up the rooms daily and make you feel like your truly in paradise, which can be seen if you step out side your front door.

Accomodation was great, we stayed in the Loloma Beachfront Bures. Amunuca has it all, a cinema, the Senitoa Spa, great pool and Reef Safari who covered all your water sport needs. The scenery and feel of the place is really friendly but the best feature is the fantastic staff they have.
