•	Intimate
•	Affordable
•	Romantic
•	Adventurous

Tell us the best thing about Lalati Resort & Spa :

It’s hard to pinpoint the “one thing” of which we are most proud, as everything combines to make the complete package. Take an unspoiled location, and mix in the most remarkable people on the face of the earth, an intimate boutique and personal experience, and that barely touches our source of “pride.” If we had to choose just one “best thing” I would have to say it’s the genuine spirit of Lalati Resort – which shines off the glimmering bay, and in the eyes of the warm and gracious staff as they welcome guests into their hearts and lives.

Tell us about the best thing about Lalati Resort & Spa location:

Lalati Resort is located off Fiji’s Pacific Coast, on Beqa Island. The resort sits at the mouth of Malumu Bay, a “safe harbour” and picturesque, calm bay that opens to Beqa Lagoon. We are the closest resort to the majority of dive and snorkelling sites in Beqa Lagoon, so a quick 5-15 minute boat ride will get you to the most incredible underwater wonders, and have you back by lunchtime.

Beqa is beautiful and mystical, with no roads leading around the island, and a 30-40 minute ride away from the main island. This keeps the location pristine and untouched, and the reefs healthy and teeming with life. The island itself is remote and unspoiled, yet close enough to the main island that a quick boat ride will allow you to participate in main island activities as well, back before sunset to your outer island “home.”

Why future visitors to Fiji should visit Lalati Resort & Spa location?

The location of Lalati Resort is a kind of dichotomy. It’s far off the beaten path … in fact, there is no path/road on Beqa Island. All travel around the island is via boat. This keeps the island and surrounding lagoon untouched. Lalati is not located close to any other resorts, so the setting is ours and ours alone. Yet the dichotomy comes into play when you consider we are only 30 minutes away from the “adventure capital of Fiji.” It’s the best of both worlds.

You are surrounded by peace and serenity, yet adventure can be found all around you. Beqa Lagoon has some of the best diving and snorkelling spots in all of Fiji, with one of the most famous surf breaks in the islands. Our bay is calm, great for kayaking, wakeboarding, waterskiing, swimming. And another 30 minutes will take guests to zipline canopy tours, white water rafting, jet skiing safaris, city tours, bamboo raft rides and have them back on their outer island paradise before sunset.

Can you give us a quick/brief history of Lalati Resort & Spa?

Lalati Resort & Spa was originally set up 10 years ago as an eco resort for upscale surfers. However, its close proximity to the majority of the best dive sites in Beqa Lagoon soon earned it a reputation as a great dive destination. Lalati started with 5 oceanfront accommodations, and second owners added a honeymoon suite, a hillside accommodation, pool and spa. It gained a reputation mainly as a relaxing and restful retreat.

In December 2009 new owners took the helm, giving Lalati a new life, breath, and energy. Prices were brought in line with other resorts in the 4-star category, and the new pricing brought an immediate increase in occupancy, as well as popularity to the resort’s the premier honeymoon suite. An additional honeymoon suite was created, and a second hillside cottage was brought online to meet this demand and also meet the needs of dive groups, who began booking the resort with regularity in early 2009.

The resort was well known for its fine cuisine, and the menu was further developed, with international guest chefs brought in to increase options and offer additional training for the chefs. A full activities staff was hired, which includes an activities director, activities coordinator and full time guides. This staff explored the seas and land, creating a host of adventures for our guests to experience.

The spa was expanded, with an array of treatments added to the existing spa menu. “Special Event Massages” were created, including a Moonlight Massage on the pier, and an Ultimate Day Spa Experience – with treatments performed offsite on a private white sand beach only accessible by boat.

The resort now enjoys an organic garden that produces some of the fresh, seasonal fruits and artisan vegetables, and a new hydroponic garden created in October is producing spectacular herbs and vegetables.

Lalati’s current reputation is that of an outer island sanctuary offering romantic interludes, intimate small group experiences, a full array of activities, and a haven for honeymoons, destination weddings, divers, snorkelers and explorers. We like to say we are “one resort … with endless possibilities.”

What are the priorities of Lalati Resort & Spa towards your customers/guest?

Lalati guests ARE our priority. We operate on the adage that there is no request too big, or too small, for our attention. We try to find out as much about our guests as we can before they arrive. Being small (10 villas/cottages) allows us to cater for special requests, whether that would be special dietary requirements, a unique wedding venue, an anniversary celebration, or a visit to a previously unknown dive site. Our goal is to provide our guests with a special holiday experience distinctive and tailor-made.

Describe a typical vacation day for Lalati Resort & Spa guests?

Wake up to a brilliant sunrise (or sleep in to the sounds of the waves gently lapping the shore). Breakfast is ready when you arise – a spread of fresh fruits, coconut scones or hot cinnamon buns, while you wait for your made-to-order hot breakfast item to be served with a warm “BULA” and a friendly smile.

The day holds many possibilities – a snorkelling safari to the best spots in world famous Beqa Lagoon. A guided kayak to infamous Bat Island. An invigorating hike up the mountain for views to die for. Maybe you’d like to dive the world class sites just minutes from your front door, or surf Frigate’s passage, a famous left-hand break where double overheads are common. For romance and rejuvenation, you can’t beat a Robinson Crusoe style getaway for the day, on a private beach only accessible by boat, with a gourmet picnic basket and esky of ice cold sodas and Fiji beer. Or rejuvenate with a Beqa Hot Rocks massage, a coconut scrub or seaweed mask, or all three!

After lunch, participate in an herbal hike to discover the treasures of the rainforest, or wakeboard in Malumu Bay. As the sun sets, head out to the pier for a fun “chasing the sunset cruise” with appetisers and Lalati’s famous rum punch. For the ultimate romance, have a candlelight dinner alone under the thatched gazebo at the end of the pier, and top it off with a Full Moon massage, before you drift blissfully to sleep in your private villa, only to awaken the next day to further discovery.

Tell us about Lalati Resort & Spa Accommodation facilities. What are the best features of Lalati Resort & Spa?
Lalati Resort has a total of 10 accommodations – 5 Oceanfront Villas, 2 Honeymoon Suites and 2 Seaside Cottages. All accommodations are oversized, large and roomy, with king beds and separate sitting rooms. Large lanais give our guests additional outdoor living space, with hammocks and patio furnishings just perfect for gazing at the sea or enjoying our spectacular sunrises.

Our Beachfront and Garden Honeymoon Villas are hideaways we like to boast about. Both have large, airy interiors with object d’art and large 4-poster palmwood beds, elevated to catch the gentle tradewind breezes. The Beachfront Villa has an additional private outdoor courtyard, with doors that open for ocean views, or close for total privacy. The courtyard features a hot tub, outdoor rock shower, mini waterfall and double daybed for lounging. The Garden Villa has a large front deck with Jacuzzi for soaking and relaxing, and a “wet room” – tiled room off the Jacuzzi with a beautiful wood and stained glass wet bar. The Garden Honeymoon Villa also comes with a complimentary mini bar, replenished daily. Both Suites have TV and DVD player with a library of DVDs readily accessible.

Oceanfront Villas feature uninterrupted views of the reef and bay, and have 2 separate bedrooms. One with king sized bed and sitting room, a second with a queen bed that can also double as a second sitting room.

Seaview Cottages are the “entry level” accommodations, but are reminiscent of lakeside or seaside summer cottages. They have large sitting areas, private bedrooms, and sea views.

The main bure holds the bar, restaurant, kitchen and also serves as the general meeting place – a place to gather for a coconut demonstration, starting spot to a “medicine man” tour or hike up Lalati Mountain, or just a place to lounge, play a board game, or read a book under a ceiling fan.

What Services and Activities does your resort offer to your guests…
Lalati Resort, being a premier honeymoon destination, offers many romantic excursions. A “Chasing the Sunset” cruise, private beach picnics, private guided coastal kayak trips, couples massages, romantic candlelit dinners at the end of the pier, or on your own private deck, are just some of the romance services the resort staff offers.

Adventure activities include scuba diving, snorkelling (both shore snorkelling and boat snorkelling safaris), surfing, wakeboarding, mountain treks, half and full day kayak trips, gamefishing, beach bonfires, poolside barbecues, beach volleyball and fish feeding.

Cultural activities include the famous Beqa Firewalking ceremony, kava parties, village visits, herbal medicine walks, coconut demonstrations, Fijian cooking lessons, and stories of myths and legends.

Spa treatments include wraps and scrubs, facials, and an array of signature massages including the Beqa Hot Rocks Massage, a perennial favourite amongst guests.

We all love Food… so what about the cuisine at Lalati Resort & Spa?
Lalati cuisine features fresh seafood and fish from Fiji’s unique bounty, and the finest local and imported meats. Produce is locally grown, much from our organic and hydroponic onsite gardens. Our internationally trained local chefs create menus that reflect a Pacific Rim influence, with international flair. We have a ‘guest chef’ program as well, bringing professional chefs from around the globe to share recipes and menu items, ensuring that the offerings are always fresh and innovative.

What is the best time of year to visit Lalati Resort & Spa?
There are benefits to visiting Lalati, and Fiji, year round. In the winter, you’ll find cooler air and water temperatures, and greater underwater visibility. In the summertime, the warmth of the sea is perfect for swimming and sunning. Activities are year round, and romance is always welcome, no matter the season!

We all know all Fijian resorts care a lot about their staff… tell us what the guest can expect of Lalati Resort & Spa staff?

In a word, the Lalati staff is “real.” Everything about the staff is genuine and authentic. Laughing, smiling faces, warmth and welcome, it all comes from the heart. The resort maintains a casual Fijian elegance, and the staff reflects this spirit, with their easy, breezy manners and a sincere desire to make the Lalati experience an unforgettable one.

Lalati guests can expect great service, a fun staff and a lot of laughter along the way.

How important is the environment and what is Lalati Resort & Spa “eco policy”?
Since we are located in such a pristine environment, protecting this ecosystem is of utmost importance to us. Built to be a sustainable resort, Lalati features modern composting toilets, biodegradable products, and wash water gardens.

In place of a septic tank that could leach into the ocean and damage the reefs, the toilets feed into a composting system. Hot water for the shower is heated on demand, to minimize the use of fuel. Sheets and towels are laundered every other day. Water is provided by the pure Fijian rain, collected on food-grade roofs and double filtered. Kitchen waste is recycled, together with grass clippings, to create a rich compost for the on site organic gardens. Non-compostable leftovers are carted, daily, to the nearby village to feed the village pigs.

We practice a “no touch” policy for snorkelers and divers, and are in the process having the bay designated as a marine reserve. We are a designated “Shark Free Marina” and member of Project Aware and “It’s a Green, Green World.”

In keeping with cultural sustainability, we encourage the village staff to preserve their local traditions, culture and crafts. Lalati frequently hosts Fijian Firewalking Ceremonies on the grounds, and supports their efforts towards self sustainability. All staff come from the local surrounding villages, which forms an intimate bond between the resort and its staff.

5 Words that best describe your Namale Resort & Spa:
Private, Exclusive, Romantic, Authentic & Unique

Tell us the best thing about Namale Resort & Spa:
We are very proud of the service and authentic Fijian experience that Namale offers our guests. Seeing that Namale caters for very high end clientele that are used to the finer things in life, we make sure that our service is part of the many points of differences that we offer. We are focused around the guest experience as we truly believe that at the end of your stay with us or any other resort for that matter, you can take aware with you an amazing experience that you will treasure for the rest of your life.

Tell us about the best thing about Namale Resort & Spa location:
Namale is built on Volcanic uplifts with amazing views of the Koro Sea and South Pacific Ocean beyond. We are built at a location where the rainforest meets the ocean and as such have an amazing plethora of Mother Nature’s many gifts for our guests to enjoy. You can expect virgin rain forests, a water fall, blow holes, the sea and so much more. Namale is in the North o Fiji and this is an amazing destination within Fiji itself. Other than what Mother Nature has given us, the people of the North are an amazing pull for the destination!

Why future visitors to Fiji should visit Namale Resort & Spa location?
I have always believed that the more off the beaten track you travel, the better the experience. The North of Fiji is off the beaten track and Savusavu town in itself has so many wonderful experiences that guests can hope to expect. The people of Savusavu are indeed a pulling card and there is no pretentiousness. We have Fijian villages around us and what you see is what you get. You can expect Fijian culture and amazing Fijian experiences. You can expect to travel to the isles of smiles when you venture to the North of Fiji.

Can you give us a quick/brief history of Namale Resort & Spa?
The owners bought the resort when it only had 3 basic traditional Fijian huts and about a 100 or so acres. That was about 20 years ago! From what it was then, the owners have developed Namale to be a leading 5 star resort in Fiji with 525 acres of amazing rain forests and 19 traditional Fijian homes (bure) and villas.

The owners wanted to create a place where people could escape from the world, connect with themselves as individuals and have a feeling of oneness. It order to distinguish Namale from other 5 star resorts in Fiji, the resort was fashioned around many points of differences and this is why we are leadings in spa and wellness, have award winning units of accommodation and have the most extensive range of land and ocean based activities in Fiji. The most amazing element of Namale is the staff….and this is why they have been so instrumental in the experience that we offer to the world!

What are the priorities of Namale Resort & Spa towards their customers/guest?
The guest experience is very important that this is why all members of staff are trained and geared together with their own wonderful nature, to offer an amazing experience! We believe that at the end of the day, irrespective of whether you travel to a 3, 4 or 5 star resort for that matter, guests will always take away with them an experience! It is the experience that we sell more than anything and it is this very same experience that I am talking about that has enabled Namale to capture so many returnee guests! A Namale stay is an evolution of an amazing experience in a guests life!

Describe a typical vacation day for Namale Resort & Spa guests?
Guests have different elements to their vacation. Some wish for romances, others wish for adventure, some are after a place to recharge their batteries and other want different things altogether. Namale caters to this and more! If you wish to, you can start with an amazing champagne breakfast on one of our many deckings overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Our Chef and his team will adhere to your every culinary whim to ensure that your meals are a gastranomical delight. After breakfast, you have the choice of going for a horse back ride up to the rain forests, hop on a jet ski and discover the wonderful ocean or even just take in a few traditional shows such as weaving, coconut displays and even flower arrangements. For the more energetic, we offer kayaking adventures, mountain bike climbing and even adventurous hikes.

You can then arrange for a picnic lunch by our waterfalls that is deep in the rain forests and then cap off your afternoon with a great dive at any one of our many dive sites. Just as sunsets falls at Namale, book into the spa and have an amazing spa experience. Explore the hydro room – the only one in the South Pacific – and watch the blow holes pay homage to the end of another amazing day as they spurt 30 feet into the air.

After a relaxing spa treatment, head back to you room and soak in the giant bath tubs, dip in your private pool or just lounge on your private deck! You can then connect with other guests for cocktails at the main dining area and then retreat for a private meal as our serenaders croon into the night with traditional Fijian songs speckles with English favourites along the way. At times we have traditional Fijian entertainment – singing and dancing – and then you can also try out Fiji’s traditional drink – kava! What an experience!

If you want a quite night, then let us arrange a private set up in your bure or villa with amazing butler and private dining service! Nothing is too much for Namale. We will personalize everyday that you are with us so that we turn your holiday dreams into a reality!

Tell us about Namale Resort & Spa Accommodation facilities. What are the best features of Namale Resort & Spa?

Namale offers 19 individually designed and unique units of accommodation. We have taken a greener approach to the construction of the resort and as such, you can expect bures, villas and guest facilities to be built onto, over and around trees and volcanic uplifts. Whilst we have 5 categories of accommodation, no two are alike. Each has its own ambience, character and feel.

The architecture is similar but not the same! Our bures and villas are well appointed and luxuriously furnished so that your bure or villa will be your Fijian home away from home! You can expect horizon wrap around pools, bath tubs, outdoor showers, Jacuzzis and more. The finishing touches to our accommodation allow for the more critical eye to truly appreciate our efforts in making sure that our bures and villas lack for nothing!

Complimented with our amazing guest amenities and services, Namale offers a totally relaxing escape!

What Services and Activities does Namale Resort & Spa offer to your guests…

For a 5 star resort, service if crucial! This is why many Fiji fanatics that have done the rounds of 5 star resorts return to Namale as returnees and regard Namale as their Fijian home away from home! The Namale service has been recognized as a point of difference and the staff is part of that point of difference. With reference to activities, we have the most comprehensive range of combined ocean and land based activities in Fiji.

We have combined the majority of activities offered at all other 5 star resorts in Fiji and have made this the Namale activities that guests can expect to experience. From horse back riding to jet skies and more, guests can fill their days with many new and unique activities at Namale.

We all love Food… so what about the cuisine at Namale Resort & Spa?
Not a problem at all. With a boutique resort like Namale, guests can expect an amazing array of fine cuisine and wines. We are sensitive to dietary requests and allergies and have an internationally changing menu that caters for all guests needs and wants. You are more than welcome to order off the menu and we will create your favourite dishes with no problems at all. We rotate our wine list every 3 months of so in order to allow for a comprehensive selection of wines. The dining experience is a gastranomical one with guests also being able to experience traditional Fijian dishes during their Namale stay.

What is the best time of year to visit Namale Resort & Spa?
All year around! However, when it comes to weather, we recommend April to October as the days are longer, the sun shines brighter, the water is warmer and the humidity is not an issue at all.

We all know all Fijian resorts care a lot about their staff… tell us what the guest can expect of Namale Resort & Spa staff?
Guests can expect to be welcomed by an amazing Fijian family. As guests to Namale, you are guests to our home and will be treated as such. Being a boutique resort, guests can expect to be called by their first name and have moments to connect with our staff for an amazing homely experience. You arrive as a guest but leave as a friend.

How important is the environment and what is Namale Resort & Spa “eco policy”?
We cannot stress enough how important that environment is to Namale. We have marine reserves, coral gardens, and amazing rain forests to call home. We nurture our environment and make sure that we are as eco friendly as we possibly can. After all, Mother Nature has blessed us with an amazing property and we make sure that we preserve and nurture what Mother Nature has given us.

Pristine – Natural – Private – Relaxed – Embracing

Tell us the best thing about Castaway Island Resort

Castaway Island is Fiji’s most popular island resort with a returnee rate of over 40%! Guests come back year after year to enjoy the hospitality of Castaway because we provide the most consistently good island experience. Good beaches – stylish accommodation – wonderful hospitality and great cuisine. Castaway ticks all the boxes for a great vacation.

Tell us about the best thing about Castaway Island Resort location:

Located right in the middle of the Mamanuca Islands, just 20 kilometres west of Nadi, Castaway Island has the privilege of having stunning white sand beaches and is encircled by pristine coral reefs. Excellent snorkelling is available straight off the beach with a huge array of marine life no matter which way you swim. Castaway’s extraordinary landscape offers the obligatory lush tropical gardens and swaying palms but also rises to a high central peak that is perfect for exploring via a bush walking trail. When you arrive at the top of the mountain, there is a bonus of the most breathtaking views of the surrounding islands and reefs. The real estate at Castaway is amazing!

Why future visitors to Fiji should visit Castaway Island Resort?

The best island resort in the Mamanuca Islands which is easily accessible by helicopter, 3 x a day ferry service out of Denarau Marina or by sea plane.

Can you give us a quick/brief history of Castaway Island Resort?
Castaway Island (known also by its native name Qalito) was the first resort established in the Mamanuca Islands over 43 years ago, so we got the pick of the real estate! Castaway is still fondly remembered by Fijian families who enjoyed weekend picnics and camping trips to this little slice of paradise when there was no resort there. When the locals believe that your island is the pick of the spots, you probably should take notice.

What are the priorities of Castaway Island Resort towards your customers/guest?

Castaway enjoys the reputation as Fiji’s most popular island resort. Our aim is to constantly strive to maintain that accolade by providing genuine hospitality where guests feel comfortable, welcome and have a sense of belonging. To stay at the top of your game, you also need to maintain an excellent standard of accommodation and facilities to ensure that guests want to spend their vacation nowhere else!

All 66 bures have traditional Fijian style thatched roofs and high vaulted ceilings, lined with hand painted tapa fabric, native to the South Pacific. All bures are air-conditioned and fan cooled and have one king bed with most also having two single beds in their configuration. There is a sliding privacy screen door between the two bedrooms.

Make use of the complimentary water sports craft including paddle boards and kayaks, windsurfers and sailing boats. Relax in a hammock, stroll around the island’s beaches or join in a game of volleyball with the staff. Have a massage at Bure Lomani at rates well below the big hotels. Try Scuba Diving at our PADI Gold Palm 5 star dive centre with over 37 sites to explore! Swim in the pool, try parasailing, jetskiing, water skiing, banana boat riding and more!

Take an Island Hopping trip around the neighbouring Mamanuca Islands, complete with champagne picnic lunch or head out early on our Dolphin Safari to spot these amazing creatures in our fast luxury speedboat “Teivovo”. The Castaway family are the most professional, happy, fun loving people you will meet just about anywhere in the World. Working at Castaway is highly regarded, so we have very little staff turnover and the guests love coming back year after year to meet the same faces.

Traditional, Fijian, Casual, Beach Resort

Tell us the best thing about Crusoe’s Retreat Resort:

The best thing about Crusoe’s Retreat is the true, authentic Fijian experience we provide our guests. Travelers choose to visit Fiji for a reason, and it would be a shame if they did not have an opportunity to experience firsthand the ancient culture, amazing music, rich history, and world-famous friendly people. Our guests are truly surrounded by all that is great about Fiji. The biggest part of this is our people. We are very proud of our local Fijian staff. The team at Crusoe’s Retreat embraces old time Fijian hospitality. In an ever-modernizing world, its nice to know that a place like Crusoe’s Retreat still exists, where friendly, happy faces are authentic.

Tell us about the best thing about Crusoe’s Retreat Resort location:

Crusoe’s Retreat is located on the Coral Coast, far away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the exciting adventures and excursions that make this such a special place. Located amongst lush tropical gardens, fronting a palm-fringed sandy beach, Crusoe’s is a world away from some of the large hotels. We are located directly next door to a traditional Fijian village, and our guests are encouraged to visit with our local village friends and families, allowing them some insight into daily life in Fiji. Our guests can also enjoy easy and convenient access to some great adventures, including white water rafting, jet skiing, rainforest ziplines, etc, but at the end of the day, they can still return to a relaxed, casual atmosphere.

Why future visitors to Fiji should visit Crusoe’s Retreat Resort?
Crusoe’s Retreat has all the services and facilities you would expect from a large hotel, but within the confines of a small, boutique beach resort. With only 29 Fiji-inspired Bures, Crusoe’s provides that remote beach experience, along with access to exciting adventures nearby. Because we are located directly next door to a traditional Fijian village, our guests have a unique insight into daily Fiji life. This is a very unique aspect to Crusoe’s.

Can you give us a quick/brief history of Crusoe’s Retreat Resort?

Crusoe’s Retreat is one of the longest serving resorts in Fiji. For many years, we have been welcoming guests to our sandy shores, providing them with a culturally-rich experience. Most of our staff is from our neighboring village, and our guests have always been welcome to spend time with our friendly neighbours.

What are the priorities of Crusoe’s Retreat Resort towards your customers/guest?

Our priority at Crusoe’s Retreat is to provide a relaxing beach holiday, while giving our guests the opportunity to experience the true Fiji. Nothing is forced at Crusoe’s Retreat. Guests are allowed to go at their own pace. We cater to a wide range of guests, including couples, honeymooners, wedding parties, families, etc. As such, we have so much to offer everyone.

Describe a typical vacation day for your guests at Crusoe’s Retreat Resort?

As they wake to another beautiful sunny day in Fiji, guests at Crusoe’s Retreat are welcomed into our restaurant deck, with amazing views of the resort gardens, sandy beach, and beautiful lagoon beyond. Grab a coffee or tea, and select from some of the items from our tropical buffet breakfast. Once seated and relaxed, place an order for a full cooked breakfast. All of our room rates include free full cooked breakfast daily. After breakfast, we suggest you walk over to our lounge area, where a board posts all of the activities, excursions, and events for the day. Several cultural activities are offered every day, from weaving, learn to cook Fijian, Fijian storytelling, how to husk a coconut, etc.
We also offer several off-resort excursions every day, where guests can pay a nominal amount to visit neighboring Pacific Harbour, or head into Suva for the day to go shopping. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a full array of complimentary resort activities including sea kayaking, snorkelling, tennis, guided bush hikes, and so much more. Or, simply relax on our expansive pool deck. Lunch is a treat, as you can again enjoy the amazing views from our restaurant deck. Be sure to join in the ‘guests vs. Staff’ beach volleyball match in the afternoon. In the late afternoon, grab your favourite cocktail and head to the beach to witness for yourself an amazing Fijian sunset.

Listen carefully for the beating of the Lali drum, which will announce our very popular Happy Hour. Head over to our thatched roof Coco Pool Bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail. At dinner, you will enjoy from a changing a la carte menu, or one of our popular buffet them nights, including a traditional Fijian Lovo night once per week. Be entertained by our own Crusoe’s string band while you dine. After dinner, we often have entertainment, activities, and fun events.

Tell us about your Accommodation facilities. What are the best features of Crusoe’s Retreat Resort?

Crusoe’s Retreat has all of the services and facilities of a large resort, but in a small, boutique resort. All of our Fijian-inspired Bures have amazing views of the tropical gardens, palm-fringed beach, and beautiful lagoon. A stay in our Bures truly feels like you are staying in Fiji. All of our bures have private verandas with great views, spacious bures with sitting area, bedroom area, private bathroom, and the amenities you would expect from a resort (ceiling fan, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, in-room safe, hairdryer, and some bures feature air-conditioning).

What Services and Activities does Crusoe’s Retreat Resort offer to your guests…

Crusoe’s is a full service resort, with a restaurant, two bars, a water activities centre and a land activities centre, a tour desk, reception, guest internet access, swimming pool with expansive deck, sandy beach, and a friendly neighboring traditional Fijian village. Many complimentary resort activities are included in our nightly rates including sea kayaking, snorkelling, tennis, beach volleyball, daily Fijian cultural activities, guided bush hikes, and so much more. Crusoe’s also features an on-site PADI dive centre, with full dive instruction available, and many local dive sites that only we visit.

We all love Food… so what about the cuisine at Crusoe’s Retreat Resort?

Crusoe’s offers full cooked breakfast daily, included in your room rate. Select from many hot breakfast items, as well as a tropical buffet. Lunch is a selection from our a la carte menu, with local specialties, seafood, sandwiches, salads, and more. Don’t forget to enjoy our daily afternoon tea and snacks. Dinner is either a selection from our a la carte menus, which feature local fish, salads, chicken, lamb, beef, and more. Or, indulge in one of our popular buffets, for example our great BBQ buffet, or our traditional Fijian Lovo buffet.

What is the best time of year to visit Crusoe’s Retreat Resort?

Today! There is no bad time to visit Crusoe’s Retreat!

We all know all Fijian resorts care a lot about their staff… tell us what the guest can expect of your staff?

Our friendly, local Fijian staff embraces the concept of old-time Fijian hospitality. Guests return year after year to visit with our friendly staff, to see their families, and enjoy another relaxing, culturally rich Fiji experience.

How important is the environment and what is Crusoe’s Retreat Resort “eco policy”?
A private Pacific Island Paradise

Tell us the best thing about Dolphin Island Resort:

The whole style of the island is deliberately rustic, totally relaxed and romantic, with a very high level of privacy. Dolphin Island hospitality is designed to provide a uniquely individual experience depending on the needs of each guest.
Tell us about the best thing about Dolphin Island Resort location:

Dolphin Island lies within 10-minutes of the shore and is well away from the main towns and coastal resorts.
Why future visitors to Fiji should visit your location?

Perfect for a stop over, for a honeymoon or simply for rest, relaxation and romance, any time

The sandy beach is the very best place to contemplate a swim in the clear warm waters, especially from behind the soft muslin curtains of the portable day bed. Snorkels, goggles and flippers are available for aquatic adventure as well as kayaks and a Hobie Cat. Diving and fishing trips can also be arranged locally.

Low tide provides the perfect opportunity to circumnavigate the entire island – observing the rock pools, reef life and exploring the ancient Fijian fishing pools.

A 10-minute journey in the Dolphin Island boat takes you to the mainland for a visit to a nearby market and a village to observe traditional Fijian culture.

Tell us about your Accommodation facilities. What are the best features of Dolphin Island Resort?

Tell us the best thing about The Pearl South Pacific Resort :
The staff. Their personalised, attentive & genuinely friendly service is what all guests rave about.

Tell us about the best thing about The Pearl South Pacific Resort location:
Located right on Fiji’s longest sandy beach, overlooking Beqa lagoon which is famous for diving (with sharks) and snorkelling & situated in the heart of Fiji’s Adventure Capital – Pacific Harbour.

Why future visitors to Fiji should visit The Pearl South Pacific Resort location?
There’s a variety of choice. Whether they want to relax on the beach or do activities, there’s something for everyone. Plus a choice of 10 bars & restaurants in the area.

Can you give us a quick/brief history of The Pearl South Pacific Resort ?
The resort was built in the 70’s as part of the Pacific Harbour developments, actually the golf course was built first. It has had various owners and an interesting history over that time including a lot of famous guests & Greg Norman winning his first open on our golf course. It is now owned by an Australian gentleman who has refurbished the entire property & taken it to another level.

What are the priorities of The Pearl South Pacific Resort towards your customers/guest?
Guests & exceeding their expectations is our highest priority.

Describe a typical vacation day for your guests at The Pearl South Pacific Resort ?

Waking up in your spacious room to a panoramic view of Beqa Lagoon; a leisurely breakfast looking out at the beach or the pool then perhaps wondering to the Activities hut to discuss the plans for the day – snorkelling, an island trip or a kayak up the river perhaps. Or maybe some adventure such as Ziplining through the rainforest canopy like Tarzan or white-water rafting with Rivers Fiji, or if a dive enthusiast can’t miss a extraordinary shark dive with AquaTrek. Perhaps shopping is your thing? A visit to Suva is an experience, wonder through the markets, visit the museum and discover some of the interesting history of this fascinating country. Then after this strenuous morning, enjoy a seafood lunch then relax with a massage in the spa or a quick work out at the gym. Dinner tonight is special so a romantic evening is organised with candlelit dinner under the stars with the sound of the waves & the chef has whipped up his specialty – lobster! What a day…and so much more to do tomorrow!
