The island’s 13-acres of gardens and forest provide a perfect excuse to follow the nature trail over the hill to the sleep-out bure for two. The sandy beach is the very best place to contemplate a swim in the clear warm waters, especially from behind the soft muslin curtains of the portable day bed. Snorkels, goggles and flippers are available for aquatic adventure as well as kayaks and a Hobie Cat. Diving and fishing trips can also be arranged locally.

Low tide provides the perfect opportunity to circumnavigate the entire island – observing the rock pools, reef life and exploring the ancient Fijian fishing pools.

A 10-minute journey in the Dolphin Island boat takes you to the mainland for a visit to a nearby market and a village to observe traditional Fijian culture.

There are two dwellings, side-by-side, featuring elements of traditional Fijian architecture and design. Elevated and enclosed by spacious wooden verandahs, they catch the soft sea breezes and the fragrance of the frangipani blossoms. One bure is dedicated to dining; relaxing and entertaining with an uninterrupted flow between indoors and outdoors. The second bure contains two comfortable bedrooms with en suite bathrooms – both bures are fully air-conditioned.

Included in this tariff ; vehicle transfers to • and from Nadi, boat transfers to and from Dolphin Island, all meals and a standard bar. Uuse of all island facilities, kayaks, hobie cat and snorkeling gear.
