Namale is built on Volcanic uplifts with amazing views of the Koro Sea and South Pacific Ocean beyond. We are built at a location where the rainforest meets the ocean and as such have an amazing plethora of Mother Nature’s many gifts for our guests to enjoy. You can expect virgin rain forests, a water fall, blow holes, the sea and so much more. Namale is in the North o Fiji and this is an amazing destination within Fiji itself. Other than what Mother Nature has given us, the people of the North are an amazing pull for the destination!

I have always believed that the more off the beaten track you travel, the 
better the experience. The North of Fiji is off the beaten track and Savusavu town in itself has so many wonderful experiences that guests can hope to expect. Can you give us a quick/brief history of Namale Resort & Spa?
The owners bought the resort when it only had 3 basic traditional Fijian huts and about a 100 or so acres. That was about 20 years ago! From what it was then, the owners have developed Namale to be a leading 5 star resort in Fiji with 525 acres of amazing rain forests and 19 traditional Fijian homes (bure) and villas.
The owners wanted to create a place where people could escape from the world, connect with themselves as individuals and have a feeling of oneness. It order to distinguish Namale from other 5 star resorts in Fiji, the resort was fashioned around many points of differences and this is why we are leadings in spa and wellness, have award winning units of accommodation and have the most extensive range of land and ocean based activities in Fiji. The most amazing element of Namale is the staff….and this is why they have been so instrumental in the experience that we offer to the world!

The guest experience is very important that this is why all members of staff are trained and geared together with their own wonderful nature, to offer an amazing experience! We believe that at the end of the day, irrespective of whether you travel to a 3, 4 or 5 star resort for that matter, guests will always take away with them an experience! It is the experience that we sell more than anything and it is this very same experience that I am talking about that has enabled Namale to capture so many returnee guests! Describe a typical vacation day for Namale Resort & Spa guests?
Guests have different elements to their vacation. Some wish for romances, others wish for adventure, some are after a place to recharge their batteries and other want different things altogether. Namale caters to this and more! If you wish to, you can start with an amazing champagne breakfast on one of our many deckings overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Our Chef and his team will adhere to your every culinary whim to ensure that your meals are a gastranomical delight. After breakfast, you have the choice of going for a horse back ride up to the rain forests, hop on a jet ski and discover the wonderful ocean or even just take in a few traditional shows such as weaving, coconut displays and even flower arrangements. For the more energetic, we offer kayaking adventures, mountain bike climbing and even adventurous hikes.
You can then arrange for a picnic lunch by our waterfalls that is deep in the rain forests and then cap off your afternoon with a great dive at any one of our many dive sites. Just as sunsets falls at Namale, book into the spa and have an amazing spa experience. Explore the hydro room – the only one in the South Pacific – and watch the blow holes pay homage to the end of another amazing day as they spurt 30 feet into the air.
After a relaxing spa treatment, head back to you room and soak in the giant bath tubs, dip in your private pool or just lounge on your private deck! You can then connect with other guests for cocktails at the main dining area and then retreat for a private meal as our serenaders croon into the night with traditional Fijian songs speckles with English favourites along the way. At times we have traditional Fijian entertainment – singing and dancing – and then you can also try out Fiji’s traditional drink – kava! What an experience!

Namale offers 19 individually designed and unique units of accommodation. 
We have taken a greener approach to the construction of the resort and as such, you can expect bures, villas and guest facilities to be built onto, over and around trees and volcanic uplifts. Whilst we have 5 categories of accommodation, no two are alike. Each has its own ambience, character and feel.
The architecture is similar but not the same! Our bures and villas are well appointed and luxuriously furnished so that your bure or villa will be your Fijian home away from home! You can expect horizon wrap around pools, bath tubs, outdoor showers, Jacuzzis and more. The finishing touches to our accommodation allow for the more critical eye to truly appreciate our efforts in making sure that our bures and villas lack for nothing!

This is why many Fiji fanatics that have done the rounds of 5 star resorts return to Namale as returnees and regard Namale as their Fijian home away from home! With reference to activities, we have the most comprehensive range of combined ocean and land based activities in Fiji.
We have combined the majority of activities offered at all other 5 star resorts in Fiji and have made this the Namale activities that guests can expect to experience. From horse back riding to jet skies and more, guests can fill their days with many new and unique activities at Namale.
We all love Food… so what about the cuisine at Namale Resort & Spa?
Not a problem at all. With a boutique resort like Namale, guests can expect an amazing array of fine cuisine and wines. We are sensitive to dietary requests and allergies and have an internationally changing menu that caters for all guests needs and wants. You are more than welcome to order off the menu and we will create your favourite dishes with no problems at all. We rotate our wine list every 3 months of so in order to allow for a comprehensive selection of wines. The dining experience is a gastranomical one with guests also being able to experience traditional Fijian dishes during their Namale stay.
What is the best time of year to visit Namale Resort & Spa?
All year around! However, when it comes to weather, we recommend April to October as the days are longer, the sun shines brighter, the water is warmer and the humidity is not an issue at all.
