we spent 1 week at Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort . The resort itself was quite nice and in a lovely location. We considered this resort to be picture perfect and extremely friendly. The service was amazing. The meal deal is the best way to go nothing was too much trouble.
I recently spent 7 nights at resort. The resort itself was quite nice and in a lovely location. We considered this resort to be picture perfect and extremely friendly. The service was amazing. The meal deal is the best way to go nothing was too much trouble.
We had a great time at The Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort this year. Our children aged 12 and 10 thoroughly enjoyed themselves and say it was the best holiday ever. The resort staff are extremely friendly and attentive and they really seem to enjoy getting to know the holidaymakers.
Travelled with three small children, we had the all inclusive meals and drinks package, definately the way to go, great choice of food, no downsides , kids loved the fruit cocktails and ice cream in the pool side bar. Overall we have a wonderful time in Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort.
Friend won the trip when he was single. After cruising the bars and saying to pretty girls, ‘Hey, wanna go to Fiji?’ and getting rejected at every turn, I agreed to pay the taxes he owed. Very couples oriented, owing to its privacy price, but we still had a great time with amazing diving and snorkeling, outstanding food, unparalleled hospitality etc, Overall we will have wonderful time in our life.
Simply amazing and exquiste. Our 5 night stay at Jean Michel Cousteau was at the end of our 3 week vacation which had started in Austrailia and then New Zealand. We wanted to end our trip with a little something special… so it came recommended from our travel agent. We had Awesomr time there.
Despite not staying at the resort (which is beautiful) I took my advanced diving course with the L’adventure team and I have nothing but praise for them. They were friendly, professional, always had that big fijian smile and made the diving fun. I learnt a lot about the underwater environment in Fiji and safety was always paramount.
My husband and I along with our 4 year old grand-daughter had a wonderful 7 night stay. The staff were just so genuinely friendly and always addressed us by name. The “Bula Club” for the children was well run with plenty of activities to keep the littlies occupied and the nanny designated to each child under 5 was an excellent experience. We had a very good time over there.
While very pricey, I don’t quarrel with much of anything after our stay there. The food was great, our bure was very nice, the service was fantastic and we really enjoyed the twice daily guided snorkel trips. If you’re into complete lounging, you could never leave.
I felt compelled to write a review as I recently stayed here with my family and had the best holiday! My husband and I stayed for a week with our 4.5 month old and 2 year old. We actually loved the fact there is no tv or radio or news – it is so wonderful to escape the humdrum.
This is our second time to this magical place. Although it takes a bit of time to get to cousteau it certaintly is worth it. My husband dives and found the diving centre amazing – (he never had to carry a thing which he was very impressed about.) The boys at the dive centre are very professional. we had a nice time over there.
We spent seven incredible nights at Jean Michel with our two children 4 and 8. I booked the resort without a recommendation which I would not ordinarily do. I am so glad that I did. The 4 y.o had a nanny for the time we were there. I have no word to explain my feeing we had, its simple awesome.
We ended our 6 week round the world trip at Jean-Michel Cousteau which was the ideal way to relax after a hectic few weeks of sight seeing in Australia. The food was fantastic. The children loved the range of activities on offer – which included the pool with the slide, snorkelling, sailing and fishing and the youngest had a fantastic holoidays there.
We stayed for three nights at Cousteau resort at the end of our vacation in Fiji. What a wonderful way to end a vacation. The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. My girlfriend had stayed ther seven years prior and two of the staff remembered her from her previous stay in amazing detail.
We had a good time highlighted by excellent diving. The dive shop is very professional and took us to several exciting sites. With that said, this is truly a dive resort, not a family resort. We traveled with our two children ages five and seven.
We recently spent two days at Cousteau resort after 8 days at Moodys Namena. While billed as a eco resort it really is a fine 4star luxury resort( at least compared to Moodys). The pool and bar area are very nice and the restuarant and food were excellent.
“WOW” That is really all I can say…I had an incredibly nice time at the Cousteau Resort. The owners and staff have perfected the art of hospitality. The staff’s “attention and attendance” was perfect…there when you needed them, but otherwise, like a lovely sculptural decoration, in the background and totally “out of the way”.
My friend and I celebrated our mutual birthday at Cousteau resort. It was fantastic and had something for everyone, i.e. us girls, my friend’s golfing husband, two teenage boys, one elementary school age girl. We all felt very well taken care of and would all love to go back.
My wife and I love this resort. The scenery is breathtaking and the bures charming. Don’t expect a nice beach. It’s not wide and rocky. Before we arrived we knew this from other reviews, yet it didn’t dissappoint us when we arrived.
We recently had a wonderful stay at this resort and would definately not hesitate to return. It is a peaceful and relaxing place, we especially enjoyed sitting outside our bure with our daily morning coffee taking in the view and having a glass of wine in the eves watching the gorgeous sunsets.
I travelled to this resort with my young family recently and have to say that it was very disappointing. I understood from my research that the beach at the resort was nothing exceptional. However it was really a shame when we got there to find it was more like a muddy and rocky mangrove.
