The birds are free to fly around the resort and surrounding areas and are not caged. They choose to live in the resort grounds as they are well fed and live in safety. We are return visitors to the Paradise Taveuni Resort and I can honestly say we have never been disappointed with this resort. Our Ocean View room was clean, comfortable and pretty close to everything. It is a big resort, but the grounds are beautiful and there’s lots to do and see.
My first day in Paradise started with an amazing pancake breakfast and quickly segued into an island tour of Taveuni, followed by homemade pizza for lunch. During the afternoon, I enjoyed a fabulous massage and pedicure and then some of the most amazing snorkeling I have yet encountered. The evening meal was a feast of traditional Fijian cuisine etc. Overall i have a awesome experience.
Paradise Taveuni is truly Paradise! My husband and I stayed at 3 different resorts during our trip to Fiji — Holiday Inn in Suva, Likuliku, and Paradise Taveuni. Our favorite resort was Paradise Taveuni — it was romantic, relaxing, and very private, which is what we wanted for our honeymoon.
This property is off the beaten path and away from it all. Great location, tropical landscaping, warm and friendly service. The rooms are basic but good sized, the outdoor shower and spa were nice to have, and the views amazing. Dive shop on site and great diving. Not luxury accomodations but a 5-star location.
I’ve just returned from my 2nd visit to Paradise and I’m happy to say that it was just as amazing as the first. The resort and surrounding grounds are incredibly beautiful – the bures (cabins) are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
Paradise was the first word that came to mind as we walked to our fijian burre (hut). If you are looking for a beautiful spot to scuba dive, this is it. The dive sites are as close as a jump off the dock or a dive boat picks you up every morning.
After spending countless hours researching on the internet for a location in Fiji to get married and honeymoon at we decided on Paradise Taveuni. After arriving at the resort it only took a minute or two to realise we had struck gold. Paradise Taveuni is everything that we had hoped for and much much more.
My partner and I completed our PADI Open Water Dive courses with Taveuni Dive whilst staying on Taveuni between 22nd and 29th August and would highly recommend them to any beginners or more experienced divers. Arrangements for diving were smooth and Carl and Jon were great instructors.
What an amazing venue with first rate staff and facilities. This was our first trip to Fiji & it certainly won’t be our last. This excellent resort will be on top of our must have list. The individual bure’s with outside shower and spa were stunning.
Paradise Taveuni was the third and final resort we stayed at on a recent trip to Fiji. On arrival at the airport we were met by a local driver. He informed us that the drive would take about an hour due not to the distance, but the road. Its fantastic experience at Paradise Taveuni.
You are probably in the same position my husband and I were in before we actually got to Fiji- “How do we know where to stay?” Especially for our honeymoon- we wanted it to be perfect. Online pictures never tell the full story.
Twenty of us arrived, ages 19 – 82. We took up the whole resort. So beautiful and lush. Palm trees, ocean view, warm and friendly staff, and very helpful. Rooms were lovely and had a great view from our deck. If any problems occured, it was taken care of right away.
A family holiday to celebrate my 40th birthday meant we had to find a resort able to accommodate 7 family members aged from my 3 year old nephew right through to my 73 year old father plus 3 keen divers. I decided against a package trip to the Mamanuca islands because I had been there, done that.
Paradise is certainly a unique place. The grounds are stunning, everything is lush and green and perfectly manicured. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. I recently returned after spending 5 of 11 nights of my honeymoon there, and we are both very happy that we chose Paradise.
When I first came to Paradise Resort I did not know what to expect. To my amazement I was so blown away! The beauty of Fiji was right there for all of the senses. The grounds are immaculate and the flowers are everywhere. The bure was impeccable and welcoming with flowers and a sarong.
Fiji is enchanting. Paradise resort really is paradise. Aptly named, the resort delivered everything we wanted in a holiday. When planning our holiday I had a few stipulations regarding what I was after.
After arriving in Nadi, then making the 1 1/2 hour flight to Taveuni and another 1 hour plus motor trip to the resort I have to admit I was getting a little nervous. However, once at the resort I have to say the web site pictures, as beautiful as they are, do not do it justice.
We had 6 wonderful days at Paradise Resort March 2009. We were welcomed by Luke, Terri and Alan and guided through all of the facilities that Paradise offers. But our holiday truly started when we were treated to a footrub on arrival at our bure.
I have been to many spectacular places in the world but was stunned by the natural beauty of the island of Taveuni, its’ people and especially the Paradise Resort. There is no way to accurately describe the ocean views, the luxuriant gardens and the peaceful tranquility of this resort.
We, we are back in Canada and have settled in to our regular lives again, all trying to figure out how to get ourselves back to Paradise. The 2 weeks we spent at the resort were amazing, less than 2 weeks at this resort would not have been enough.
This review is a little overdue because we stayed at Paradise Taveuni in November 08 but we still wanted to say what a wonderful time we had. It was our first visit to Fiji and it couldnt have begun in a better place.
Part of a group of twelve people with eight of us enjoying scuba in pristine waters, we stayed at Paradise Taveuni as the first segment of our trip. The grounds, staff, our lodgings were incredible and I wouldn’t hesitate to recomment this Shangri La to anyone, divers and otherwise
Our first visit in Fiji has been exciting. Thanks partly to Paradise Taveuni – Fiji. The accommodation somehow made us felt we belong. The food, the service and the ambiance simply made our long trip to the island worth all the hassles.
Bula guys! Well, we had the best time of our life. We left from Sydney and we arrived to Taveuni after after a few days in Nadi. Well, the place is simply Paradise and the staff are simply fantastic. Also the owners/managers Allan and Terri are simply lovely.
