I recently spent 7 nights at Shangri-La Fijian Resort. The resort itself was quite nice and in a lovely location. We considered this resort to be picture perfect and extremely friendly. The service was amazing. The meal deal is the best way to go nothing was too much trouble.
Hi Just returned from 10 nights…..and I have to say this was the best family holiday ever….I have worked in the Hospitality sector for 15 years, so I expect a great deal…..and we were never disappointed. The staff are amazing, very polite, relaxed, prompt and caring.
Just back from a wonderful 9 days in Fiji. My wife and I were both first time travellers to Fiji and our preference was to stay at the one location which would maximise our relaxation time. After some significant research on the matter as well as some great pricing from our travel agent we decided to stay at the Shangri.
This was our second holiday at The Fijian & we were not disappointed. The rooms have been upgraded & the standard was high. We intially had an ocean view room but upgraded to a Beach Bure. The Bure was great for our needs with 3 children.
Just got back from 8 days lying in the sun at the Shangri La and thought that I had to write a review to advise others. This was our firts trip to Fiji and after talking with friends and travel agents it was sugested that we visit this resort fbecause of its kids club and activities and the beach.
My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the shangri-la Fijian. We had a lagoon view room which was very nice and closer to the beach . The ocean view rooms however were closer to the golf , tennis and infinity pool so they would have been nice either.
I have stayed at Shangri La twice, but never got around to writing a review! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It was perfect both times, first as a teenager with family and second as a newlywed couple. It is very comfortable, the atmosphere is always relaxed.
This was our first overseas holiday with the family so they were excited whilst I was apprehensive after reading feedback. We were there for a family wedding so had everything booked before I started researching. I’m glad as I was in awe when we entered our room and saw our view overlooking the Infinity Pool and ocean.
We stayed at the Shangri-La for 6 nights in Feb, 2009 and chose this resort for it’s location, kids club, & facilities. Overall it is a fantastic resort, the staff are just wonderful and the resort grounds are huge with many restaurants and bars…I would have to agree with the food prices though…it can get extremely pricey, we bought many. Over all we have
I recently took my Mother, my 8yo daughter and her 8yo friend to Shangrila. We all loved it very much, the staff were wonderful. I felt totally relaxed with the kids swimming or attending the kids club and they enjoyed everything the resort had to offer, or what we could fit in anyway.
We have just returned from 7 days at the shangri la fijian and loved every moment of it. We travelled with our four kids (5, 3, 2, & 1) and we all had a fantastic time. The people are very warm and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
We have just returned from our holiday at The Shangri La Fijian Resort. We stayed for 14 nights in a ground floor Ocean View family room – 2 adults and 2 kids ages 4 yrs & 7 yrs. This was our second visit to Fiji and our second stay at this resort, the previous trip was for 10 nights 3. Ovewr all we had a fabulus time over ther.
We stayed at the Shangri-La Fijian from the 8th-14th November 2009. My husband, myself and our 2 children aged 9 and 12 and my parents all went together and had inter-connecting rooms in the Ocean Wing. Firsty we were picked up at the airport and greeted by a lady who gave us all shell necklaces and then we were transported. Final word we had a awsome period.
My husband & I stayed at this resort with our children 8 & 5 and i would highly recommend it, our 5 year old has an egg allergy and we were worried about what he might eat, well we needn’t have bothered worrying because he ate better than we did, the staff did special egg free dishes for him everyday. we have a fantastic days.
My family stayed at Shangri La for my son’s wedding. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff, they went out of their way to make our stay amazing. This is perfect place for a wedding, the chapel is just perfect and the wedding coordinator did everything for us. The resort is huge. I’ve read a lot of negative reveiws…
The ocean view rooms however were closer to the golf , tennis and infinity pool so they would have been nice either. We found the staff very friendly and I love the place, its so wonderful to be there. We had our time in Heavan.
