We returned yesterday after spending 5 nights on Tokoriki Resort followed by 5 nights at the Warwick with our 2 children aged 4 & 6. I have to say that honestly we were disappointed with our stay at this resort and I would not consider myself as ‘fussy’! The resort itself was quite nice and in a lovely location.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Tokoriki resort and were immediately impressed with the warm reception, genuine friendliness of the staff, and the stylish and clean room. We had planned to stay for four nights, but Cyclone Mick – a category 2 tropical cyclone – descended on our last day.
We recently returned from our fabulous honeymoon at Tokoriki Island Resort and can’t thank the staff for making our special holiday so amazing! After a hectic lead up to our wedding we were able to completely unwind and relax on this beautiful island. Everything was just perfect including our bure (fresh flowers everyday on our bed!), the delicious fresh food. we had a wonderful time over there.
It was a awesome experience we had. Just returned from our honeymoon in Fiji. First let my say that Tokoriki Island Resort is simply paradise on earth, from the moment we stepped off the chopper we had the most amazingly warm reception, genuinely friendly staff (Penioni)met us on arrival at the helipad and gave us a necklace and cocktail on arrival along with a personal ‘welcome song’. We had a great time there.
We had a great relaxing vacation on Tokoriki Island . The staf couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was great with the sound of the waves on the beach at night. The menu was excellent each and everyday. We look forward to returning again to Tokoriki Resort.
Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway from it all holiday. The Sunset pool Villas are amazing, each with it’s own plunge pool and magnificent beachfront position. A daybed and loungers included. Immaculately clean and kept so by the wonderful housekeeping service we couldn’t fault the venue.
My now-husband and I were looking to book our honeymoon when we stumbled upon the South Seas Adventures website and began and e-mail dialogue with one of their representatives, Cindy. She gave us about a dozen options within our price range and laid out some of the highlights of each, including many personal experiences there, Overall we had very Fantastic time.
You know you shouldn’t always believe what you read…. thank goodness we didn’t. Tokoriki was absolutely fantastic and all the reviews we had read before arriving had us cautious, but it couldn’t have been better and the reviews more wrong.
We did all the research before we left on our honeymoon just like your doing.We are not writng a long review because we only need to say one thing,STAY AT TOKORIKI it is absolutely fantastic!!!!!!! It was worth every dollar.
From the moment we arrived we felt we didn’t want to leave. Special mention must go to Ramsey and Solomon for their welcome. All the staff knew our names and came across as genuinely lovely people. The resort is clearly aimed at romance, with no children allowed – a perfect place for honeymooners.
We spent 6 nights (3 beach bure/3 Pool Villa) and had a fantastic stay. Tokoriki tries very hard to be great but falls short, slightly. It is however one of the top resorts in Fiji in it’s bracket. The staff are great, the food very, very good and the pool villas fantastic.
My partner and I recently visited the Tokoriki Island Resort and it was without doubt the best part of our trip to Fiji. I would definitely recommend it to others and we plan on returning there ourselves in the future.
The island of Tokoriki is beautiful and picturesque, and the tokoriki Island Resort is even better! The beach side Burees are well positioned and furnished and a delight. New Sun deck and Infinitely pool excellent. Food very good and reasonably priced so only go for Food Plan if you are very large three full meal a day eaters.
We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable holiday where we spent 6 days at the Tokoriki Island Resort. The friendliness of the staff was wonderful and if you’re looking for peace and quiet and somewhere to unwind this is the place to go.
Tokoriki was an absolutely incredible location for our honeymoon. The activities were better than anywhere on the main island and the food and staff were out of this world. If your goal is to get away from the world and have a truly relaxing vacation, this is your place.
What a fantastic place to get away and relax!! Can highly recommend Tokoriki as a beautiful place to escape from the world. We spent our honeymoon there but ideal for any couples wanting a break. Quiet and yet lots of outdoor activities to do such as swimming, snorkling, kyaking, boat trips, fishing, walks and day trips to islands.
Bula! What a Honeymoon! We arrived late at night (about 9.20pm) and was welcomed with a cocktail and a song! One of the first things we were told about was the construction and re-furbishments going on.
We stayed at Tokoriki as a bunch of friends (3 couples) and had a wonderful time. From the first moment we arrived and jumped from the back of the shuttle boat to the sandy beach we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience.
This resort is perfect for a romantic getaway. No children, great food, the most sincere and warm welcome you can ever get. I will be going back! If you are a diver – the diving is spectacular. if you are lazy, the pool is great.
We had a great time at Tokoriki, rooms were excellent, staff extremely friendly, food great. Tokoriki is a beautiful tropical island, the pictures dont do it justice, we met some lovely people while we were there, enjoyed the environment and had some awesome experieces.
Although it was still wet season Nov-Apr (we did manage to get several days of sun but also several days of rain) this was a dream destination for our honeymoon. If you want to kick back relax and get away from it all this is the place to go.
Nice little resort where they used a lot of wood to construct the rooms and main building which gives a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and comes with outdoor shower, hammock and ocean view. They are clean and comes with small nice soaps etc.
